Debbie is a senior Infection Prevention and Control practitioner within the main acute hospital in Malta and has practiced in the speciality for more than 15 years.
Debbie’s special interests include infection prevention in operating theatres, critical care areas and device related infections. Debbie has a role with the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Malta and studied healthcare management. Debbie is the One Together surgical site infection project lead for IPS and also a member of the IPS’ International Engagement Committee.
